About Lon Horwedel

I'm a 26-year veteran in the world of photojournalism documenting the world around me at various newspapers from Maine to Michigan. For the majority of my career I worked for The Ann Arbor News until it ceased publication in 2009. I've since started my own photography business shooting editorial, sports, portraits and corporate work. In addition to being a freelance photographer, I also write and teach photojournalism at Washtenaw Community College.
